Meet Our Clinicians

“Our team at MPACS consists of exceptional, PhD-level psychologists and highly skilled professionals specializing in supporting underserved communities.”

I’m Dr. Dennis McLeod II, founder and CEO of MPACS Therapy. With over a decade of clinical experience, I specialize in supporting emerging adults, early career professionals, and the African American/Black community. My approach is client-centered, grounded in building strong therapeutic relationships and using evidence-based care. As a qualified mindfulness teacher, I often integrate mindfulness practices into treatment for chronic pain, trauma, emotional challenges, and substance use. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a consultant and mentor, helping institutions advance wellness and equity. My goal is to empower clients to heal, grow, and thrive.

I have worked in diverse settings including private practice, community mental health, and university counseling centers, and I draw on this experience to meet clients where they are. I’m Dr. Kim, a Clinical Psychologist board certified in Cognitive Behavioral Psychology. Since fewer than 4% of psychologists nationwide earn board certification, this ensures you receive care grounded in the highest standards of training and expertise. I specialize in helping people manage chronic pain and related concerns such as headaches, insomnia, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and adjustment difficulties. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as Director of Training in Psychology at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, where I mentor future clinicians. My approach is evidence-based, compassionate, and practical, focused on improving well-being and quality of life.
